As much as I appreciate individuality etc. this September's London Fashion Week had faaar too much clownin' and not enough sharp suitin'. This woman actually stood out in black, and she is fierce as hell - even with her trainers on.

Food Fetish.
Just back from my holiday in the South of France. The fruit and veg there is ridiculously huge and delicious and I became mildly obsessed with photographing it.

All About WIGS
I'm now a blogger for Edinburgh Online Fashion Week, super exciting project that will be building up until October! Any Fashion folk in Scotland or THE WORLD should get involved!!! CCCCHECK IT OUT HERE
Wigs, wigs, wigs and more wigs! All of a sudden they have popped up from no where, covering the catwalks of Brighton Fashion Week and the red carpet of the Scottish Fashion Awards. Lou Clavé of Hair for Heros is the genius who has brought back the wig. So far seen on the fashion crowd in Glasgow on the heads of Obscure Couture and model Julia Bell, while being used in photoshoots for Isolated Heros and Once Upon A Time.
Bringing back the wig coincides nicely with the revival of 90s fashion. The tackier, the
I’ve always had preconceptions about wigs. How on earth do you get
all your hair underneath them? They were always so overly glossy, so
ridiculously bright and just really quite tacky. However, now I am older
and wiser I embrace the tack and the concept that I can have a whole
new hairstyle in ten minutes. Normally being one of these people who is
minimum fuss with hair and make up I find it amazing how smitten I have
become with Hair for Heros. Minimalism is out the window, it is now time
for the bright and the brash!

Amateur.
I've been going through old baby and family photos the past week to get a little slideshow together for the Bday and I found packs of photographs from my first ever camera. Amongst all the pictures of my dog and hamster there are actually some really beautiful images. Makes me think about what my friend Flo said about trying to unlearn skills so you go back to the naivity of the 10 year old, picking up a camera for the first time.
I might just be being completely bias as they are my photographs and I feel unbelievably nostalgic towards them but they are probably better than what I could do now, seeing as I overthink everything and care far too much about composition, angles etc. Just go with the flooooooow...
